Just hours after the devastating earthquake rocked Haiti, seven SDF Search Teams landed in Port-au-Prince. They searched for 16 days and helped rescue 10 survivors. Inspired by their efforts, Joanne Woodward Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation made a combined $100,000 Challenge Grant in support of the teams.
They called on the nation to meet their challenge…and you answered the call!
Today, we’re honored to announce that a grand total of $161,491 was donated in response to the Woodward/Newman’s Own Challenge.
