After completing an internship at SDF through the Exotic Animal Training and Management program, Abbey began volunteering in our kennels. SDF’s “rescued to rescuer” motto touched her heart and witnessing the level of care and commitment provided to the dogs inspired her to join the team in April 2025. Abbey is responsible for the cleanliness of our kennels and providing basic care for our canines in her role as a Canine Kennel Technician.
