Denise joined SDF’s team in 2008, after earning her B.A. in Telecommunications with an emphasis in Broadcast News Production from Pepperdine University. Starting her career in public service as an emergency 911 dispatcher, she continues her work in emergency management and leadership through SDF, collaborating with agencies around the world to help ensure canine resources are ready to respond when disaster strikes. Denise serves on the advisory board for the Women in Leadership Executive Program at the University of Riverside and is often joined on campus by her rescue dog office companions including her German Shepherd, Zuma, tripod Golden Retriever, Nova, and Chocolate Lab, Scout.
