Angie joined SDF in August of 2026 after falling in love with our mission. With nearly 20 years of experience working with dogs, she has built a career spanning both animal welfare and canine behavior. Her sheltering experience includes leadership roles in both rescue and municipal shelter environments, as well as service with the North Carolina Animal Federation, ASPCA disaster response, and The Family Dog Mediation Education Center. As a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, Angie has also worked extensively with dogs facing complex behavioral challenges and their families. Throughout her career, she has focused on building relationships and developing programs that improve outcomes for dogs in all phases of their journey. As Director of Canine Recruitment, Angie is excited to cultivate and strengthen partnerships with shelters and rescues nationwide, positioning SDF as a resource and a leader in the animal welfare arena.
